We're excited to announce that Lately is back in the studio. We'll be recording the songs that you guys have been requesting: When They Watch Me Die, Long Way Down, and we're even working on a whole new version of Reality (no pun intended).

You'll be able to follow all the gory details at our Twitter and Facebook pages so be our friend. That's how this works you see. You might even catch some behind the scenes photos every now and then... if you're lucky...

Check the Sound - Worldwide Television Debut
Feb. 20th

Lately will be performing three songs from their upcoming EP "Live Words and Sound Things" on the international television show, Check the Sound, a youth-oriented music show featured on Daystar. The show will premier Friday, February 20th at 12m CST and will re-air Saturday, February 21st at 12m CST and Monday, February 23rd ad 5pm CST. Need more info? The new EP "Live Words and Sound Things" will be available for purchase on February 24th! It includes three songs performed at the live taping of Check the Sound, including "Reality," "I Got Here," and "Beauty of the Mystery." The New Band Showcase has been a staple in Cornerstone Festival's diverse existence for years. One look at just some of the past winners and you'll understand why. P.O.D., Ester Drang, Sixpence None the Richer, Eisley, and Over the Rhine have all been a part of what has become a wellspring of up and coming talent and a place to find the most groundbreaking new bands.

Lately on TV... again
May 22nd and 30th

You can check out Lately on an all new episode of Check the Sound, Friday May 22nd at midnight CST (yes, this technically makes it Saturday morning) and Saturday May 30th at midnight CST (again, we're aware this is technically Sunday morning) on Daystar. We'll be performing the song "I Got Here" from Live Words and Sound Things.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! to everyone who came out to the Majestic Theater in Dallas on May 13th to support us. Thanks to you (and the awesome judges) we WON!!!! That means we're going to NYC to play at none other than Radio City Music Hall!!! This is such an awesome opportunity and we are totally and completely stoked!!! Not to mention this competition is to raise awareness for PABI. We get to sponsor this awesome chick named Stephanie and we met her at the Majestic. She's the jam!!!

As soon as we have more details (i.e.: you know, the date), we'll keep you, our faithful fans, posted. We love you. You are our friends and we are yours.

New York City, Here We Come
November 2009

The date has been set... Lately is headed to New York City on November 17th for the final round of the PABI Competition! The show will be at Webster Hall, an awesome venue and the cause is raising awareness PABI. If you're in the New York area, we'd love to see you there. Find all the details here.

Lately to Open for Shane and Shane
October 2009

So this is pretty cool... Lately is opening for SHANE AND SHANE on October 17th in Waxahachie, Texas. Chick-Fil-A is having a customer appreciation day featuring Shane and Shane with Lately. It's free, it's fun, and it's for the whole family so come on out! You can find all the details (location, time, etc) on the tour page. See you there!
